codified constitution

codified constitution
A constitution in which all the main provisions are brought together in a single document, whereas uncodified constitutions exist where the constitutional rules and procedures may be written down but have not been gathered together, as in the case of Britain’s constitution. cohesion Introduced after the first enlargement of the European Union, the policy aims to reduce inequality between regions and compensate for the costs of economic integration. Its main tools have been the structural funds for poor or declining regions and the cohesion fund for the poorest member states.
